On May 14, Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, met with Zheng Dongtao, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CCPIT Anhui. They had in-depth exchanges on further promoting MICE, strengthening service delivery to foreign trade and commerce enterprises, deepening cooperation among CCPIT sub-councils in different regions, and advancing the reform of the Chamber of International Commerce. The meeting was attended by Zhu Jialiang, Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, as well as those in charge of relevant departments from both sides.
Both sides noted the valuable experiences and practices worth mutual learning, such as innovating working methods, strengthening trade promotion functions, continuously deepening reform, and expanding high-level opening-up. For the next step, the two sides will strengthen efficient coordination, like pieces in a chess game, enhance exchanges and pragmatic cooperation, continue to fully utilize the resources of both places, and jointly organize economic and trade activities with international influence, in a bid to contribute to the construction of a modern and beautiful Anhui and the high-quality development of the capital.
