In a bid to leverage the expertise of professional service organizations such as export credit insurance companies and law firms in stabilizing foreign trade, and equip cross-border e-commerce enterprises with comprehensive knowledge of the supporting policies in export credit insurance, the key points of customs supervision, and the measures for risk mitigation, an online training session titled “Credit Insurance Policy and Customs Supervision Practice in Cross-border E-commerce” was successfully held and live streamed on the WeChat Channel of China Chamber of International Commerce. More than 1,600 representatives from enterprises within and outside Beijing participated in this training session.
During the training, Liu Kuntian, the customer manager at Beijing Branch of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, elucidated on credit insurance policies in support of cross-border e-commerce. Zhang Bo, a senior lawyer from the cross-border supervision team at King & Wood Mallesons, gave a presentation on the hot topics of keen interest for enterprises, such as the policies in law enforcement by customs and customs clearance facilitation. Hao Jingyu, a partner at Hai Run Law Firm, introduced customs compliance challenges in cross-border e-commerce and strategies for establishing a robust compliance framework.
This training session was jointly held by CCPIT sub-councils and Chambers of International Commerce in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, as well as CCPIT sub-councils and Chambers of International Commerce in Shenyang, Fuzhou, and Qingdao, aiming to empower cross-border e-commerce enterprises with updated policies and enhance their risk prevention capabilities, thereby promoting the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce.
