“Discover NEOM” First Debut of China Hosted in Beijing

On April 15, “Discover NEOM · Beijing”, an event co-sponsored by CCPIT Beijing and Saudi Arabia’s NEOM Company, took place in Chaoyang District. NEOM CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr attended the event, and speeches were delivered by CCPIT Beijing Chairman Guo Huaigang and Saudi Ambassador to China Abdulrahman Al-Harbi. The event attracted over 300 local corporate executives from sectors such as AI, autonomous driving, new energy, biopharmaceuticals, and digital infrastructure, who engaged in in-depth discussions with NEOM’s management.

As NEOM’s first promotional campaign in China, this event showcased NEOM’s master plan and business opportunities. It featured an exhibition themed “Designing the Future”, an architectural forum, and over 60 networking sessions. The event fostered a deep integration of resources and markets between Beijing and Saudi Arabia, igniting new momentum in trade, investment, technology, talent, information, and application scenarios. Notably, it created new business opportunities in fields such as new energy, AI, biopharmaceuticals, cultural tourism, and financial investment, assisting Beijing-based enterprises in securing international funding and venturing overseas.

Tarek Qaddumi, Executive Director at NEOM, is introducing “The Line” to participants.

With a total investment of USD 500 billion, NEOM is a core project of Saudi Vision 2030. It consists of 10 projects including The Line (an urban project), Trojena (an international tourist destination), and Oxagon (a maritime industrial city), aiming to set a precedent for future urban design. NOEM has attracted top firms worldwide from various sectors. Known for their outstanding equipment, advanced technology, and managerial expertise, Beijing-based leading companies have actively participated in the construction of NOEM, earning widespread acclaim.

Negotiation between a Beijing-based enterprise and NEOM’s management

According to a recent cooperation agreement, CCPIT Beijing will recommend enterprises in intelligent manufacturing, AI, and aerospace to NEOM Investment Fund. Moving forward, it will strengthen communication with NEOM and carry on with economic cooperation and technological exchanges. Furthermore, CCPIT Beijing will maintain close collaboration with Saudi trade promotion agencies, and keep building high-quality platforms to deepen bilateral trade and cultural exchanges, thereby contributing to Beijing’s higher-level openness to the global community.
