CCPIT Beijing, CCPITs in Tianjin, Hebei, Shenyang, and Qingdao, and China Chamber of International Commerce co-hosted the online training session titled “Green Development and Transformation under Carbon Peaking Goal and Carbon Neutrality Vision” under the training series of “International Economic and Trade Lecture for the Capital City” on the afternoon of August 17. Live streamed on the WeChat Official Account of China Chamber of International Commerce, the training session attracted nearly 700 representatives from the hosts, co-organizers, relevant chambers of commerce and associations, and enterprises inside and outside Beijing.
At the training session, Li Kai, an expert from the think tank of the Global Climate Innovation Center, gave a systematic interpretation of green development and transformation, including the history and the status quo of international green and sustainable development, the path adopted by enterprises towards green transformation, and the measures and suggestions for transformation and upgrading.
This training session will help the enterprises in Beijing enhance their awareness of green transformation and a low-carbon economy, and accelerate industrial restructuring, contributing to global joint efforts against climate change.
