Zheng Wei, Head of the Department of Legal Affairs of CCPIT, visited CCPIT Beijing on the morning of July 28 along with a delegation. During the visit, he investigated and gave guidance on the work of commercial law services, and exchanged views on helping enterprises deal with economic and trade frictions. The meeting was chaired by Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, with the attendance of Wu Lanlan, Vice Chairwoman of CCPIT Beijing.
Zheng Wei introduced CCPIT’s two priorities in commercial law services in the second half of the year, noting that response to economic and trade frictions is an important function of trade promotion institutions in serving enterprises. He hoped to strengthen cooperation with CCPIT Beijing in exploring effective ways of addressing those frictions.
Guo Huaigang extended warm welcome to the delegation, and said that international commercial law services are put high on the agenda of CCPIT Beijing. He stressed the response to economic and trade frictions as a part of rights protection in foreign trade and a matter concerning the vital interests of enterprises. He promised that CCPIT Beijing will provide necessary assistance and explore the establishment of a public service platform and a liaison mechanism, hoping that the Department of Legal Affairs will strengthen guidance and resource sharing, and facilitate the progress in “Two Zones” construction and other priorities in Beijing.
