CCPIT Beijing and CCPIT sub-councils in Tianjin, Hebei, Shenyang and Qingdao co-hosted the online training session titled “Dispute Resolution in Multiple Ways: International Commercial Arbitration” under training series of “Beijing International Economic and Trade Lecture” on the afternoon of July 27, which was broadcast live on the WeChat Official Account of China Chamber of International Commerce. The training session was attended by nearly 600 representatives from the hosts, co-organizers, relevant business chambers and associations, and enterprises in and outside Beijing.
At the training session, Lan Fei, Director of the Foreign Business Dispute Resolution Committee of Qingdao Lawyers Association, made a systematic interpretation of international commercial arbitration, with a focus on the matters of concern to enterprises, such as the reasons for choosing the approach of arbitration, the matters needing attention in signing arbitration agreements, and how to settle trade disputes with arbitration procedures. Lan also shared the experience based on the cases of foreign business disputes.
This training session will help the enterprises in foreign trade enhance their awareness of law and risk, master international commercial rules, avoid foreign-related risks, properly resolve business disputes in line with laws, and improve their ability to safeguard their rights.
