In order to “thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and facilitate the high-level opening up in all districts”, Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to Daxing District for investigation and exchange on the afternoon of April 14. The purpose of the visit was to promote the upcoming 16th China-LAC Business Summit, and attend the inaugural ceremony of CCPIT Daxing. Liu Xueliang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Daxing District Committee and Deputy Mayor of Daxing District, participated in the activities.
During the visit, the delegation explored Beijing Free Trade Zone Innovation Service Center located in Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone, received a report on the overall development of the airport economic zone and the projects undertaken by the Innovation Service Center, and gained insights into the industrial distribution and the development of biomedical industry in Daxing. A discussion was then held at the Daxing District Business Service Center, during which Guo Huaigang and Liu Xueliang jointly unveiled the plaque of CCPIT Daxing.
During the discussion, Liu Xueliang presented an overview of the economic and social situation in Daxing, highlighting the district’s rich local resources and robust industrial innovation. He expressed the district's commitment to becoming a pioneer in the capital’s high-level opening up. He expected more support from CCPIT Beijing in areas such as investment attraction, publicity and promotion, and organization of economic and trade activities.
Guo Huaigang acknowledged that the establishment of CCPIT Daxing has further strengthened Beijing’s trade promotion efforts. The science-based planning and dynamic industrial development make the undertakings in Daxing prosper. The CPC Daxing District Committee and the Daxing government have strongly supported the trade promotion activities, which is conducive to the overall promotion of trade and investment in Daxing. He affirmed CCPIT Beijing's commitment to leveraging the 16th China-LAC Business Summit as a cooperative opportunity, and utilizing its professional expertise and international advantages to build platforms, expand channels, and actively provide high-quality service to facilitate Daxing’s high-level opening up.
The visit was also joined by Cai Xiaojun, Deputy Mayor of Daxing District, Zhu Jialiang, Wu Lanlan and Zhang Xiufeng, Members of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairpersons of CCPIT Beijing, as well as heads of relevant departments of both sides.
