CCPIT Beijing Chairman Guo Huaigang Meets ICCCI President Majid Reza Hariri

Guo Huaigang, Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, met with the delegation led by Majid Reza Hariri, President of Iran-China Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCCI) on the morning of July 12, and exchanged views on strengthening exchanges and cooperation in commerce and industries between two sides. Maryam Sadat Fard, Secretary General of ICCCI, was also present at the meeting.

Guo Huaigang extended a warm welcome to Hariri and his delegation for visiting CCPIT Beijing as agreed by both sides after the epidemic ended. He provided an overview of CCPIT Beijing’s work in various area, including international trade and investment promotion, international commercial law services, international MICE promotion, international multilateral and bilateral cooperation in industry and commerce, as well as the establishment of application-oriented think tanks in international economy and trade. Guo Huaigang invited ICCCI to organize enterprises to participate in the Middle East Trade and Investment Promotion Conference, which will be held in Beijing by CCPIT Beijing during 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services. He emphasized that CCPIT Beijing remains committed to collaborating with ICCCI to foster two-way trade and investment, while promoting cooperation in the fields of construction, new energy, science and technology, culture and tourism.

Hariri looked back at the long-standing and amicable partnership with CCPIT Beijing, introduced the key tasks of ICCCI in the next three years, and invited CCPIT Beijing to organize business delegations to visit Iran. Additionally, Hariri mentioned ICCCI’s plans to establish a representative office and an exhibition center in Beijing, aiming to deepen all-round cooperation with CCPIT Beijing and contribute to the enhanced economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between Iran and China.
