On the afternoon of July 10, to “thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and facilitate the high-level opening up in all districts”, Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to Mentougou District for investigation and exchanges. Yu Huafeng, Secretary of the CPC Mentougou District Committee, attended the above activities.
The delegation first visited Beijing Shengteng Artificial Intelligence Computing Center in Zhongguancun (Jingxi) Artificial Intelligence Exhibition Hall, and was briefed on the industrial development and planning and construction of Mentougou Park of Zhongguancun Science Park. The team then visited Scientific Findings Commercialization Base of Baheal Pharma Group to learn about the achievements made by the company in biomedical R&D, innovation and incubation.
During the discussion, Yu Huafeng provided an overview of the economic and social status quo and the development ideas of Mentougou District. He emphasized that Mentougou has taken “green and high-quality transformation and development” as its guiding principle, focused its efforts on two “battlefields”, implemented the “Three Districts” strategy, and made integrated efforts in promoting the construction of beautiful countryside and top-level city. These initiatives have continuously yielded new progress. Yu expressed the expectation for more support and assistance from CCPIT Beijing in various areas, including investment attraction, market expansion by “going out”, external publicity and exchanges, industrial activities, talent training and attraction, as well as services to foreign-funded enterprises.
Guo Huaigang highly recognized the strong political stance, clear working ideas and great efforts of the CPC Mentougou District Committee and the Mentougou District Government, as well as the great enthusiasm and full dedication to work of regional officials and party members, finding them inspiring and worthy of emulation. In response to the development needs of Mentougou District in the new era, CCPIT Beijing intends to leverage its professional expertise and international advantages, build platforms, facilitate smooth channels and provide high-quality services. Furthermore, it is committed to closely monitoring and supporting Mentougou’s progress while participating in the district’s economic and social development, to facilitate the region’s high-level opening up and high-quality green transformation.
