Wu Lanlan, Vice Chairwoman of CCPIT Beijing, had a working meeting with Liu Jichun, Assistant to Chairman and Executive Deputy Director of the Commerce Committee of Hainan Airlines on the afternoon of June 25. The two exchanged views on strengthening pragmatic exchanges and cooperation.
Wu Lanlan expressed her gratitude to Hainan Airlines and Fangda Group, the controlling shareholder of Hainan Airlines, for joining the Beijing delegation of enterprises to Saudi Arabia. CCPIT Beijing would hold a Middle East trade and investment promotion event during 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services to materialize the outcomes of the visit, and Hainan Airlines is welcomed to this activity. Wu also expressed her willingness to enhance matchmaking with Hainan Airlines and stressed the 16th China-LAC Business Summit to be held in Beijing at the end of the year as a good opportunity to expand Hainan Airlines’ business in Latin America. CCPIT Beijing will play its role as a bridge and actively support Hainan Airlines to speed up the resumption and development of international flight routes.
Liu Jichun explained that Hainan Airlines has been supporting the national strategies with a focus on aviation development, and giving full play to its unique advantage of quick and highly-efficient decision-making as a private aviation enterprise, in a bid to become a pioneer among Chinese citizens and enterprises in “going global”. Since its visit to Saudi Arabia, Hainan Airlines has been actively implementing the outcomes of its visit, planning to officially launch a direct international flight between China and Saudi Arabia at the end of the year. Hainan Airlines hopes to strengthen exchanges with CCPIT Beijing and establish communication with relevant departments in the capital, to jointly serve the trade and economic cooperation between China and other countries.
