On the morning of June 15, Zhu Jialiang, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to the Beijing Construction Association (BCA) for research and exchanges. The purpose of this visit was to further explore and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, enhance services for members of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, and support the international development of export-oriented enterprises in the capital city. During the visit, the delegation met with Feng Yi, Vice President and Secretary General of BCA, as well as representatives from key enterprises.
Wang Chong, Vice President of BCA, presided over the meeting. The heads of six construction companies, namely China Construction First Group Corporation Limited, China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Ltd., Beijing Construction Engineering Group International Co., Ltd., Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Hanjian Group Co., Ltd., and Beijing Wanxing Building Group Co., Ltd., introduced their current operating status and overseas business strategies. Subsequently, they conducted in-depth discussions on shared concerns related to the international operations of construction companies, including challenges with financing and unstable supply chains.
Feng Yi extended a warm welcome to Zhu Jialiang and his delegation, conveying sincere appreciation for the constant assistance and support from CCPIT Beijing and the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC). He expressed his aspirations to capitalize on the extensive international network and resources of CCPIT Beijing and the BCIC, with the aim of facilitating the overseas expansion of construction companies and tackling their existing challenges.
Zhu Jialiang provided an overview of CCPIT Beijing and the BCIC, and extended an invitation to the 16th China-LAC Business Summit in Beijing this November. He noted that CCPIT Beijing and the BCIC are committed to enhancing their service awareness, leveraging their bridging role, representing the interests of the industrial and commercial community, and helping companies tackle their challenges and concerns related to international operations. Additionally, they will strive to facilitate greater access for Beijing’s construction companies to international resources and overseas markets.
