On the morning of June 16, the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX) visited CCPIT Beijing. CCPIT Beijing Vice Chairwoman Wu Lanlan and ASOEX President Iván Marambio exchanged views on strengthening bilateral trade cooperation.
Wu Lanlan expressed her gratitude to ASOEX for co-organizing the Beijing-Chile Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Fair. She introduced the preparations underway for the 16th China-LAC Business Summit, and kindly requested ASOEX to invite Chilean fruit companies to participate in conferences and exhibitions in Beijing. She noted that CCPIT Beijing would continue to enhance communication and engagement with Chile's industrial and commercial community, in the hope of promoting bilateral trade and investment as well as cooperation in areas such as commercial laws.
As a non-profit association representing Chilean fruit growers and exporters, ASOEX accounts for 96% of the country's fresh fruit exports. Iván Marambio revealed that ASOEX is eagerly preparing for the 16th China-LAC Business Summit, and is seeking to organize joint events with CCPIT Beijing. The aim is to build platforms for enterprises on both sides, and promote continuous growth in economic and trade cooperation between Chile and China.
