CCPIT Beijing Delegation Conducted Investigation at Beijing Capital Agribusiness & Foods Group

On the morning of June 14th, a delegation from CCPIT Beijing visited Beijing Capital Agribusiness & Foods Group to conduct research on “Key Areas of Economic and Trade Cooperation between Beijing and Latin America”, with an aim to better serve Beijing-based enterprises in “going global” and “bringing in”. This investigation is part of an education campaign on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Huang Saixi, the head of the sixth tour steering group of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, and Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, met with Ma Jun, the deputy general manager of Beijing Capital Agribusiness & Foods Group, and other relevant leaders from Beijing Fisheries Group, Beijing Grain Group and Beijing Ershang Meat Food Group Co., LTD to discuss and exchange ideas. Later on, the delegation also visited the exhibition hall and production workshop at Beijing Ershang Meat Food Group Co., LTD.

Huang Saixi expressed his full support for the investigation. He stated that CCPIT Beijing is a crucial institution for promoting international economic and trade in Beijing, and that, through the guidance of the educational campaign, it proactively conducts research to identify enterprise issues, reflect their demands, and effectively facilitate non-governmental economic and trade exchanges. By doing so, it plays a vital role in supporting the international operations of enterprises. China has always considered the Sino-Latin American relations to be a top priority in its foreign exchanges. The 16th China-LAC Business Summit, organized by CCPIT Beijing, serves as a crucial platform for enhancing economic and trade cooperation between both sides. This summit helps promote Beijing-based enterprises to expand into the Latin American market, furthering China’s diplomatic efforts and the construction of Beijing as an international exchange center.

Guo Huaigang highly praised Beijing Capital Agribusiness & Foods Group for its crucial role as the primary supplier of essential commodities such as vegetables, rice, milk, and meat to the citizens of the capital. Guo warmly welcomed the Group’s active participation in the 16th China-LAC Business Summit, which presents an excellent opportunity for it to showcase its brand image and expand its presence in the Latin American market amidst the deepening China-Latin America cooperation across various sectors. The CCPIT Beijing will fully utilize its international liaison, trade and investment promotion, commercial law services, to assist enterprises in connecting with international resources and overseas markets. Guo also added that CCPIT Beijing is committed to addressing the challenges and needs of the enterprises that arise in their international operations.

Ma Jun emphasized that Beijing Capital Agribusiness & Foods Group, as the largest state-owned agriculture-related enterprise and a national key agricultural industrialization leading enterprise in Beijing, has actively expanded its international business in recent years to enhance its brand value. Moving forward, the Group intends to continue serving as a crucial provider of food supply services in the capital. To achieve this, it will focus on optimizing resource allocation and strengthening connections and collaborations with the CCPIT Beijing, particularly on matters concerning the promotion of international trade of its agricultural products, expansion of its overseas investment and mergers and acquisitions, and its participation in the China-LAC Business Summit.
