Zhang Xiufeng, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, met with Martin M Lo Coco, CEO of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce for Asia and the Pacific on June 6 in Buenos Aires of Argentina, and exchanged views on jointly promoting economic and trade relations and developing pragmatic cooperation between the two cities. The two sides signed an agreement on friendly cooperation after the meeting.
Zhang Xiufeng noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the pairing of Beijing and Buenos Aires as sister cities. Although far away from each other, the two cities have a good foundation for economic and trade cooperation, thus creating great potential for future development. CCPIT Beijing will give full play to its functions in investment and trade promotion, commercial law services, international MICE promotion, multilateral and bilateral cooperation mechanisms and application-oriented think tank construction, and continuously expand the fields of economic and trade exchanges by vigorously propelling the cooperation between the two cities in automobile manufacturing, culture and tourism, and green energy, in a attempt to boost mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation.
Martin M Lo Coco congratulated CCPIT Beijing for successfully hosting the “Beijing-Argentina Economic and Trade Cooperation Promotion Fair”, hoping to deepen cooperation with CCPIT Beijing in such areas as mutual visits by business groups, matchmaking among enterprises, project promotion, and economic and trade activities, and build communication channels and activity platforms, to provide effective services for Chinese and Argentine enterprises in two-way trade and investment cooperation.
