On May 22, Chairman Guo Huaigang of the CCPIT Beijing met with a delegation led by Mr. Luciano Montenegro Menezes, Vice Chair and Secretary of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA). During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on strengthening cooperation.
Guo Huaigang acknowledged the longstanding and fruitful partnership between the CCPIT Beijing and the WTCA. He expressed the desire for both sides to leverage their respective strengths and enhance market connectivity, in a bid to facilitate business development, and actively promote bilateral trade and investment cooperation between Chinese and American SMEs. He also introduced the work priorities and major economic and trade events planned by the CCPIT Beijing for the year. Moreover, he extended a warm invitation to Mr. Luciano to participate in events such as the “Invest Beijing Global Summit” and the “Exhibition of ZGC Forum (China Beijing International High-tech Expo)”.
Luciano responded affirmatively that he would lead delegations to these significant economic and trade events. He emphasized the extensive global reach of the WTCA, spanning 320 cities in 93 countries and regions, and highlighted its ability to seamlessly facilitate investment and trade through a highly efficient global network ecosystem. Luciano expressed his wish to collaborate with the CCPIT Beijing, leveraging their respective strengths, with a view to proactively addressing the concerns of the businesses, and improving bilateral and multilateral economic and trade cooperation.
