CCPIT Beijing Delegation Visited the Saudi-Chinese Business Council

To promote the trade and investment cooperation between Beijing and Saudi Arabia, and facilitate the high-level opening up of Beijing, Wu Lanlan, Vice Chairwoman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visited the Saudi-Chinese Business Council on the afternoon of May 16. Wu Lanlan met with Mohammed A. Al Ajlan, Chairman of the Saudi-Chinese Business Council, and had a friendly talk with Vice Chairman Dr. Anas Mohammed Alfadda.

During the meeting, Dr. Anas outlined the history and development of the Saudi-Chinese Business Council, and said that considering the promising prospects for the cooperation between Chinese and Saudi Arabian enterprises, the Saudi-Chinese Business Council hoped to establish and deepen interactive exchanges with CCPIT Beijing, shared the network resources of chambers of international commerce of both sides, and strengthened industrial cooperation in cutting-edge fields such as high technologies, to jointly facilitate two-way trade and investment between Saudi Arabia and Beijing.

Wu Lanlan stressed the importance of this visit as an opportunity to establish a long-term and stable communication channel with the Saudi-Chinese Business Council, and expressed that CCPIT Beijing would give full play to its functions in international trade and investment promotion, international commercial law services, international MICE promotion, international multilateral and bilateral cooperation in industry and commerce, and construction of application-oriented think tanks in international economy and trade, facilitate the visit and investigation, investment, and market expansion by Saudi Arabian enterprises in Beijing, and help communicate their demands and feedback. She invited the Saudi-Chinese Business Council and Saudi Arabian enterprises to hold economic and trade promotion activities in Beijing, participate in large-scale activities such as China International Fair for Trade in Services and the Exhibition of ZGC Forum (China Beijing International High-tech Expo), and engage in the construction of “Two Zones” in Beijing, so as to deepen economic and trade cooperation of two sides.
