As a part of the theme education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit Fangshan District on the afternoon of May 12.
The delegation visited Beijing Capital Outlets, Beijing WeLion New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a key enterprise based in the Zhongguancun Fangshan Science Park, Beijing HyperStrong Technology Co., Ltd., and China Power Energy Storage Development Limited. Moreover, they listened to the introduction of the district’s commercial area development, new energy storage and hydrogen energy industrial clusters as well as Beijing's high-end manufacturing base.
During the discussion, Yang Bo, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fangshan District Committee and District Mayor, briefed on the socio-economic development, priority of building a “1+3+N” development pattern and the progress of trade promotion in Fangshan. He called for support from the CCPIT Beijing, an international platform with bountiful resources and expertise, to boost enterprise service, help hold investment promotion events, and build platforms or institutions such as international chamber of commerce, as the district is improving its business environment to enhance value and seek opportunities.
Guo Huaigang acclaimed that Fangshan District boasts profound culture with great momentum, and it’s worth learning the professional dedication and passion showed by cadres and the masses in their practical work. CCPIT Beijing will fully leverage its strength in international trade and investment promotion, international commercial law services, international MICE industry facilitation, bilateral and multilateral business cooperation, and construction of an application-oriented think tank for international business and trade, and keep expanding collaboration with Fangshan District by offering a service-based smooth channel, in a bid to advance high-level opening-up and high-quality development in Fangshan.
Gao Wujun, Deputy District Mayor, and Tang Haijiao and Zhu Jialiang, both members of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice Chairmen of CCPIT Beijing, attended the discussion, along with the staff in charge from relevant departments of both sides.
