CCPIT Beijing Visited Capital Intellectual Property Services Association for Investigation

On May 11, Tang Haijiao, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit Capital Intellectual Property Services Association for a special investigation on the overseas intellectual property of Beijing enterprises, as a part of the theme education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

During the discussion, Gao Yongyi, Executive Vice President of Capital Intellectual Property Services Association, introduced the construction of the Association, and the trend, characteristics, difficulties and challenges in the application of Beijing enterprises for a patent, copyright, and trademark overseas. Beijing Sanyou Intellectual Property Agency Ltd. and Dragon Intellectual Property Law Firm, as representatives of intellectual property service agencies, expounded on their service experience and gave suggestions on how enterprises can better safeguard their rights and interests in overseas markets. As representatives of enterprises, VanJee Technology, Cambricon Technologies Corporation Limited, Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd., and Xiaomi Inc. shared their experience in intellectual property protection accumulated in corporate growth and business development and proposed working suggestions.

Tang Haijiao introduced the specific work carried out by CCPIT Beijing in international commercial law services, and elaborated on the channels of targeted services to enterprises. He said that CCPIT Beijing would take this visit as an opportunity to continue to enhance active service efforts, promote enterprises’ deep understanding about international economic and trade rules, improve their ability to independently apply intellectual property innovations and participate in international competition, and strengthen exchanges and cooperation with industry associations and service organizations, in a bid to jointly expand the promotion of intellectual property knowledge, and facilitate enterprises in Beijing to sail out and march forward steadily.
