As a part of the theme education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Zhu Jialiang, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area for investigation on the morning of May 11, where they visited the exhibition hall at Boda Building to get a overall picture about the development of the Area, and had in-depth exchanges with Zheng Haitao, Deputy Director of the Administration Committee of the Area, and Mao Shanhong, Director of the “Two Zones” Office (Task Force for Foreign-funded Enterprises).
During the discussion, Zheng Haitao introduced the industrial development of the Area, hoping to strengthen matchmaking and deepen cooperation with foreign-funded enterprises for common development through the rich international liaison channels of CCPIT Beijing. Mao Shanhong gave a briefing about the foreign investment, foreign trade, and trade promotion in the Area, hoping to further strengthen the function of trade promotion through the “Two Zones” Office, and provide more pragmatic services for enterprises to “go global” and “bring in investment” together with CCPIT Beijing.
Zhu Jialiang noted that the CCPIT Beijing will further strengthen communication with the Area, and give full play to its advantages in international trade and investment promotion, international commercial law services, international MICE development, international multilateral and bilateral cooperation in industry and commerce, and construction of application-oriented think tanks in international economy and trade, to offer more services for the Area in constructing “Two Zones”, attracting investment, and organizing enterprises to explore the international market, thereby facilitating the new progress in the high-level opening up and high-quality development of the Area.
