CCPIT Beijing Chairman Guo Huaigang Visited BAIC Group

To deeply carry out the theme education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and better support the international development of key enterprises in Beijing, Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit BAIC Group on the morning of May 9, and had a discussion with Jiang Zili, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of BAIC Group and Deputy General Manager of BAIC Group, and those in charge from Beiqi Foton Motor. The delegation also conducted research and investigation on promoting enterprises to “go global” and expand overseas markets.

The CCPIT delegation visited the heavy-duty truck manufacturing workshop of Foton Daimler Automotive factory and the digital technology exhibition hall of Beiqi Foton Motor Headquarters. Guo Huaigang spoke highly of BAIC’s great achievements in leading China’s commercial vehicle export and innovative development of new energy vehicles, and pointed out that as a platform for the international trade and investment promotion, international commercial law services, international multilateral and bilateral cooperation in industry and commerce, and construction of application-oriented think tanks in economy and trade, CCPIT Beijing will help enterprises reduce risks in overseas market, promote compliance certification of products and technologies, and coordinate relevant departments in addressing the and difficulties that enterprises face. He invited BAIC Group to participate in the 16th China-LAC Business Summit to be hosted by CCPIT Beijing this year, where BAIC can display its products and image and further increase its market share in Latin America.

Jiang Zili and the head of the Overseas Business Department of Beiqi Foton Motor respectively introduced the overall situation of the Group’s overseas business, especially the planning for greater market share in Latin America and the development status in this region, hoping to maintain good communication and cooperation with CCPIT Beijing and make Beiqi Foton Motor more internationalized. Jiang said that the Group will seize the development opportunities, and further improve the distribution of the core industrial chains, committed to becoming a model enterprise in high-end manufacturing and contributing to Beijing’s high-level opening up.
