CCPIT Beijing Visited the Miyun District

As a part of the theme education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Zhu Jialiang, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit the Miyun District on the morning of April 25, and had in-depth exchanges with Chen Weihang, member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Deputy Mayor of the Miyun District Government, and those in charge of the Daxing District Commerce Bureau.

The delegation visited Zhongguancun Miyun Park, and Mando (Beijing) Automotive Chassis System Co., Ltd. and JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. which operate in the park, to have a general picture about the park, foreign trade and investment by enterprises, production and operation, and scientific research and development.

During the discussion, Chen Weihang gave a briefing about the economic and social development of the Miyun District. He pointed out that Miyun is accelerating to establish a region-wide development paradigm featuring “one strategic development belt, four belts for cultural tourism and leisure development with local characteristics, and multiple towns and industries with local characteristics”, making every effort to promote the construction of the East Zone in Huairou Science City and facilitate the upgrading of Zhongguancun Miyun Park. He looked forward to cooperating with CCPIT Beijing in platform building and resource pooling, in a bid to establish a working mechanism and continuously expand the space for cooperation.

Zhu Jialiang highlighted that CCPIT Beijing will further strengthen communication with the Miyun District, implement the strategy of building “a cooperative platform for each district” with a focus on the local development needs by fully utilizing its rich resources in international trade and investment promotion, international commercial law services, international MICE industry promotion, international multilateral and bilateral cooperation in industry and commerce, and application-oriented think tanks in international economy and trade, to well serve the export-oriented enterprises in the Miyun District, and boost the new progress in the local high-level opening up and high-quality development.
