On the afternoon of April 25, a delegation of nine people from Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB) led by Wang Jinbao, Head of the Student Affairs Department of Party Committee and Director of Office of Student Affairs, Zhang Shijun, Dean, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Law, as well as other teachers from the School of Law visited CCPIT Beijing for research, and held talks with Wu Lanlan, Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice Chairwoman of CCPIT Beijing, along with other staff from the Department of Legal Affairs.
During the discussion, Vice Chairwoman Wu Lanlan introduced the key responsibilities and tasks throughout the year, and noted that the two parties have signed a cooperation agreement, which lays a solid foundation for cooperation and joint construction. This meeting was to follow up the agreement and discuss specific and practical cooperation matters, which was conducive to expanding the work scope and efficiency, and pitching into the high-quality development of the capital’s economy and society.
Wang Jinbao and Zhang Shijun introduced the basic situation of CUEB, and stated that CCPIT Beijing boasts abundant enterprise resources and overseas resources, which coincides with the fact that CUEB practices application-oriented education, and most of the graduates choose to work in Beijing. They hoped to establish a two-way cooperation with CCPIT Beijing to achieve a higher level of exchange, collaboration, and resource sharing. Together, they aimed to cultivate more high-quality legal talents for the construction of Beijing’s “Two Zones” (Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening Up the Services Sector and China(Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone) who possess both theoretical knowledge and practical capabilities in the new era.
The two sides discussed specific cooperation issues concerning foreign legal personnel training, research cooperation, theoretical and practical exchanges, among others.
