On the morning of April 24, Wu Lanlan, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, met with a delegation led by Mr. Mihai Andritoiu, President of Association for the Promotion of International Trade and Economy (AFPICE) and a member of Romanian Export Council, and exchanged information and opinions on further strengthening cooperation.
Wu Lanlan welcomed Mr. Andritoiu as an old friend of CCPIT Beijing and expressed her pleasure to see him visiting China for the first time after the pandemic. She introduced the progress of Beijing’s high-standard “Two Zones” (Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening Up the Services Sector and China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone) and “Three Platforms”(Exhibition of ZGC Forum, China International Fair for Trade in Services and Financial Street Forum) construction over the past three years, as well as the key initiatives and major economic and trade activities organized by CCPIT Beijing. She hoped that both sides would continue their efforts in promoting cooperation between enterprises in Beijing and Romania, and achieve mutually beneficial results.
Andritoiu shared insights on Romania’s economic recovery and development after the pandemic, and highlighted Romania’s steadfast commitment to strengthening trade relations with China. He also mentioned that over 40 Romanian companies will participate in the upcoming China International Import Expo in Shanghai, and expressed his desire for CCPIT Beijing to support the promotion of the Romanian exhibition area and facilitate connections between Romanian and Chinese companies.
