Guo Huaigang, Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit McKinsey & Company, a member of the Meeting of International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing, on April 21. He held in-depth talks with Jonathan Woetzel, McKinsey Global Institute Director and Senior Partner, as well as Guan Mingyu, Partner of McKinsey & Company and Managing Director of its Beijing Office, and other relevant officials, on how to leverage their respective functions and conduct further cooperation.
The visit is an integral part of the theme education and investigation of Da Xing District, and also a practical action taken by the institution as a municipal-level industrial master that assists in “service package” for the industry. Guo Huaigang reviewed the friendly cooperation between CCPIT Beijing and McKinsey & Company, and briefed on the relevant information about the 2023 Mid-term Meeting of International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing and the 16th China-LAC Business Summit. He also solicited opinions on the development of multinational corporations in Beijing and cooperation between Beijing and Latin American regions.
Jonathan Woetzel interpreted McKinsey & Company’s research report on new opportunities, risks, and layouts for multinational corporations in China. Guan Mingyu introduced the company’s development philosophy, development situation in Beijing, and future business focus, among other aspects.
Both sides agree to further enhance communication, establish a deep-level cooperative relationship, jointly conduct research on international trade and investment issues, promote Beijing’s “Two Zones” policy and business environment, so as to facilitate the investment and development of multinational corporations in Beijing, and help promote the high-level opening-up of Beijing.
