CCPIT Beijing Held a Working Meeting on the Theme Education of Studying and Applying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era

CCPIT Beijing held a working meeting on the theme education of studying and applying Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era on the afternoon of April 14, to mobilize the whole CCPIT Beijing to carry out in-depth theme education. Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, made a mobilizing speech. Huang Saixi, Head of the 6^th Steering Team of the Leading Group for the Theme Education of the CPC Beijing Committee addressed the meeting. The leadership, all officials of departments, CCPIT Beijing General Affairs Center and representatives of retirees of CCPIT Beijing attended the meeting.

The meeting stressed the necessity to thoroughly understand the requirements of the important speech made by President Xi Jinping, raise the political stance, deeply understand the great significance of this theme education, and earnestly maintain political integrity, learn and apply party ideas, and take actions under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

The meeting requested that CCPIT Beijing should keep a close eye on the objectives and tasks, and carry out the theme education up to the highest standards and in a high-quality manner; continue to strengthen the study of theories and consolidate the ideological foundation for defending “Two Establishes” (establishing Xi Jinping’s core position on the CPC Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, and establishing the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era) and “Two Upholds” (upholding Xi Jinping’s core position on the CPC Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, and upholding the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership); carry out in-depth investigation and study, and stay committed to solving problems; fully grasp the requirements for promoting the development, and effectively turn the knowledge learned into development achievements; carry out in-depth inspection and rectification, continuously enhance the awareness of the ethical standards of the Party, and promote self-revolution; and attach importance to the establishment of rules and regulations, and continue to consolidate and deepen the progress made in the theme education.

The meeting stressed the importance of the theme education as the top political task at present and in the future, and made the following requirements. CCPIT Beijing should strengthen organizational leadership, with its main leader as the one with primary responsibility. Others of the leadership should earnestly perform the dual duties in their post, and the secretaries of the party branches should perform their duties as the one with primary responsibility in their respective branch. CCPIT Beijing should be subject to the supervision and guidance of the 6^th Steering Team of the Leading Group for the Theme Education of the CPC Beijing Committee, and strengthen communication, coordination and cooperation with the team to improve the quality of the theme education; strengthen publicity and guidance through the official website of CCPIT Beijing, Microblog, WeChat and mobile terminals, and enhance news reports  to cultivate favorable public opinions; earnestly improve the working style, combine the theme education with the implementation of the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, with the working requirements of the CPC Beijing Committee, and with the work of CCPIT Beijing, to put equal emphasis on the theme education and the daily work.

Huang Saixi requested in his speech that CCPIT Beijing should fully enhance the sense of responsibility and mission in the theme education, and bring its thoughts and actions in line with the spirit of the CPC Central Committee and the requirements of the CPC Beijing Committee; fully grasp the objectives and requirements of the theme education, and turn Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into a powerful force that enhances the commitment to ideals, strengthens the awareness of the ethical standards of the Party, guides the practice, and advances the work; fully implement the key measures to ensure the effectiveness of the theme education; and earnestly strengthen the leadership on the theme education, strictly fulfill the responsibilities, and well organize and plan the theme education, to achieve solid progress in the education.
