CCPIT Beijing Visited Changping District

As a part of the theme education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit the Changping District on the afternoon of April 13.

The delegation visited BeiGene (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Chinese Institute for Brain Research, Beijing, and Beijing Bio2 Innovation Center in Zhongguancun Life Science Park, to learn about product research and development, commercialization of life and health research findings, and incubation of enterprises.

During the discussion and exchanges, Zhi Xianwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Changping District Committee and District Mayor, introduced the overall economic and social development of the Changping District, the accelerated construction of a “3+2+1” modern industrial system, the priorities in the business field, and the basic situations of CCPIT in Changping, hoping that CCPIT Beijing will support the Changping District in building a platform for foreign investment attraction, strengthening the cooperation with international organizations, and enhancing its international influence.

Guo Huaigang highly recognized the reasonable development planning, the solid industrial foundation, and the clear working ideas in the Changping District, especially the professional working style of dedication to work by its officials and the masses, which is quite worth learning. He said that with rich resources in international trade and investment promotion, international commercial law services, international conference and exhibition industry promotion, international bilateral and multilateral cooperation in industry and commerce, and application-oriented think tanks in international trade, CCPIT Beijing will build platforms and develop smooth channels to actively help foreign-funded enterprises in foreign trade expand their business and facilitate the high-quality opening up in the Changping District.

The meeting was also joined by Guo Qingyao, Deputy Mayor of the Changping District, Zhu Jialiang, Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, and those in charge of relevant departments of both sides.
