CCPIT Beijing Visited Huairou District in Beijing

As a part of the theme education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit the Huairou District on the morning of April 13.

The delegation visited the Industrial Transformation Demonstration Zone and the Huairou Campus of the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in the Huairou Science City, and heard the presentations about the development of high-end equipment and sensors in the Huairou District.

Guo Yanhong, Secretary of the CPC Huairou District Committee and Secretary of the CPC Working Committee of the Huairou Science City, gave a detailed introduction about the industrial development in the Huairou District. He said that positioned as an important region for taking up the capital’s functions and for eco-conservation, the Huairou District has accelerated the “1+3” integrated development with the Science City taking the leading role, and focused on the construction of Beijing Huairou National Comprehensive Science Center, to meet the country’s major strategic needs, and gradually develop a new pattern that integrates science and technology, commerce and trade, and film and television. He hoped to strengthen business matchmaking and deepen cooperation through diversified international liaison channels of CCPIT Beijing, to contribute to the high-quality development of the capital.

Guo Huaigang expressed his excitement about the scientific development planning, a galaxy of talents, and the great vitality in the Huairou District. He said that with rich resources in international trade and investment promotion, international commercial law services, international conference and exhibition industry promotion, international bilateral and multilateral cooperation in industry and commerce, and application-oriented think tanks in international trade, CCPIT Beijing will strengthen communication with the Huairou District with a focus on the needs of Huairou in its Science City construction and those of local enterprises, build platforms, develop smooth channels, and actively provide services, to facilitate overseas economic and trade exchanges in the Huairou District, serve the development of export-oriented enterprises, and promote the high-quality opening up.

The meeting was joined by Wang Jiangang, Member of the Standing Committee of CPC Huairou District Committee and Deputy Mayor of the Huairou District, Ji Xuewei, Deputy Mayor of the Huairou District, Zhu Jialiang, Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, and those in charge of relevant departments of both sides.
