Zhang Xiufeng, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, visited the Tongzhou District Government on April 10, and co-chaired a coordination meeting on land purchase and storage by Procter & Gamble (P&G) together with Lu Qinglei, Deputy Mayor of the Tongzhou District, to help meet P&G’s development demands in Beijing.
As the provider of “service package” for P&G in the industry, CCPIT Beijing offered targeted services to help solve the problems facing P&G in land purchase and storage in the central part of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center. It communicated with the Tongzhou District Government, and coordinated a meeting between Liu Haosen, General Manager of Global Business Development Department of P&G, and Guo Zhihong, General Manager for Government Affairs and Public Policy of P&G Greater China, and the Tongzhou District Government, to address the problems as soon as possible.
At the meeting, the Tongzhou District Government and P&G reached a consensus on the following “two-step” solution for land purchase and storage. The non-polluted land will be purchased and stored after P&G completes the land pollution investigation, and the polluted land that has reached the second-class land use standard after treatment will be purchased and stored upon the land pollution investigation. CCPIT Beijing and the Tongzhou District set up a joint task force as a coordinated working mechanism, and put in place designated persons to provide “one-on-one” services, aiming at enhancing the enterprise’s sense of fulfilment and creating a first-class business environment.
