CCPIT Beijing Visited ITOCHU Corporation

Zhang Xiufeng, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit ITOCHU Corporation on April 12, and had exchanges with Akira Saito, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer for East Asia Bloc of ITOCHU Corporation, on topics such as high-quality services to foreign-funded enterprises and two-way trade promotion.

Zhang Xiufeng introduced the two working mechanisms: “service package” and the task force for services to foreign-funded enterprises. The two working mechanisms were set to provide targeted services, effectively meet the demands of enterprises and help solve the problems facing them, develop a cooperative momentum and create a better environment for enterprises by enhancing the coordination between various districts in Beijing. He invited ITOCHU to participate in the Exhibition of ZGC Forum (China Beijing International High-tech Expo, CHITECH), the mid-term meeting of International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing, and the activities themed “Connect the World, Invest in Beijing, and Share the Future”, and explore Beijing’s key industrial parks for more cooperation opportunities.

Akira Saito thanked CCPIT Beijing for its work over the years, and highlighted the development of ITOCHU Corporation which takes trade as basis, plans its operation globally and coordinates development in multiple sectors. He suggested that Keita Ishii, President of ITOCHU Corporation, would serve as an adviser on behalf of ITOCHU, and conveyed Keita Ishii’s willingness to visit Beijing and meet with the officials of Beijing Municipal Governent.

The meeting was also attended by Tsunetaka Mori, Vice President of East Asia Bloc, and Kenichi Inoue, President Assistant of East Asia Bloc of ITOCHU Corporation.
