Zhang Xiufeng, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit Arup Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. on the afternoon of April 7, and had exchanges with Liu Peng, head of Arup Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. Beijing Branch, on topics such as high-quality services to foreign-funded enterprises and participation in the Exhibition of ZGC Forum (China Beijing International High-tech Expo, CHITECH).
Zhang Xiufeng introduced two working mechanisms: the “service package” and the task force for services to foreign-funded enterprises, and the “345” working pattern (Three Services that serve the capital’s high-standard opening up, high quality development, exchange and cooperation of domestic and foreign enterprises. Four Priorities that expand international circle of friends, strengthen service network for businesses, explore the coverage of trade promotion, improve working creativity. Five key purposes that promote international trade and investment, offer international commercial legal services, facilitate the international convention and exhibition industry, establish multilateral and bilateral mechanisms for international industrial and commercial cooperation, and develop an application-oriented think tank for international economic and trade activities). And stressed the proactive and targeted services provided by CCPIT Beijing to effectively meet enterprises’ needs and help solve the problems they are facing, accelerate the development of foreign-funded enterprises in Beijing through trade promotion, strengthen the cooperative forces in Beijing, and create a better environment for enterprises in Beijing. He welcomed Arup to participate in the series of activities titled “Connect the World, Invest in Beijing, Share the Future” launched at the Beijing International Investment Cooperation Seminar and Conference, and hoped to jointly explore cooperation opportunities by visiting key industrial parks in Beijing.
The heads of relevant departments of CCPIT Beijing gave a briefing about the preparation for the CHITECH and the mid-term meeting of International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing, and invited Arup to participate in the CHITECH.
Liu Peng thanked CCPIT Beijing for its support over the years, introduced the development of Arup Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. Beijing Branch and the engineering projects designed by Arup across China, and expressed his positive attitude about participating in the CHITECH.
