CCPIT Beijing Held a Working Meeting on Full and Rigorous Party Self-governance (Party Building) in 2023

On March 31, CCPIT Beijing held a working meeting on full and rigorous Party self-governance (Party building) in 2023, to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the 1st and the 2nd plenary sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee, fully study and implement the spirit of the 2nd plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the 2nd plenary session of the 13th CPC Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, sum up the work of full and rigorous Party self-governance (Party building) in 2022, and arrange the tasks of Party building in 2023. Guo Huaigang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, chaired and addressed the meeting; and Lu Jinqi, Head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team of the CPC Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Beijing Supervisory Commission dispatched to Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, gave guidance at the meeting. The meeting was also attended by the leadership, all staff from departments and CCPIT Beijing General Affairs Center.

The meeting delivered the spirit of the 2nd plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the 2nd plenary session of the 13th CPC Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, summed up the work of full and rigorous Party self-governance (Party building) in 2022, and arranged the tasks of Party building in 2023.

Lu Jinqi put forward the following specific requirements for CCPIT Beijing in further promoting full and rigorous Party self-governance, improving Party conduct, upholding integrity and combating corruption, that is raising the political stance, enhancing the sense of responsibility, deepening the construction of working style, and focusing on oversight over the “key few”.

The meeting stressed the importance of 2023 as the first year to comprehensively study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, the year marking greater efforts in implementing the plans of the 13th CPC Beijing Municipal Congress, and the year witnessing further advancement in the high-quality development of trade promotion of the capital. Facing a higher starting point, newer goals and more arduous tasks, we should resolutely implement the spirit of the plenary sessions of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the CPC Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, continuously ensure full and rigorous Party self-governance, and relentlessly improve the Party conduct and enforce Party discipline, to ensure that the major decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the requirements of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee are earnestly implemented.

The meeting required us to thoroughly study the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, acquire a deep understanding of the decisive significance of establishing Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and establishing the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era; strengthen our consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment with the central Party leadership; stay confident in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics; and uphold Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and uphold the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership. We should firmly keep in mind that we are always on the way towards full and rigorous Party self-governance and self-revolution as stressed by President Xi Jinping when we embark on a new journey; take the Party’s political building as the overarching principle, further and firmly promote the full and rigorous Party self-governance, resolutely implement the major decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the requirements of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, strengthen and regulate the political life within the Party, regularly carry out warning-based education, continue to improve the Party conduct and enforce Party discipline, unswervingly fight corruption, and fully advance the tasks in an orderly and effective manner; take the Party building as the guiding principle, promote the high-quality development of trade promotion in the capital, carry out high-standard education on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, continue to organize educational and practical activities titled “striving to be a vanguard of high-level opening up of the capital”, strengthen investigation and research of key and difficult problems, and make more efforts in strengthening the dedication to one’s work and the sense of responsibility, enhancing discipline development, raising working standards, improving working style, enhancing awareness of service and improving working skills.
