On the afternoon of February 20, Guo Huaigang, Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, met a delegation led by Lin Shunjie and Feng Yaoxiang, Chairman and President respectively of China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation (CIEC).
Guo Huaigang emphasized that the MICE industry served as a critical platform for developing a modern system of market economy as well as open economy, and promoted to the growth of urban economy, society, and industries. CCPIT Beijing showed welcome for the upcoming China International Supply Chain Expo in Beijing, and would be committed to cooperating with the local government to further blossom the Expo. In addition, Guo looked forward to an in-depth collaboration with the CIEC in the MICE sector as well as the internationalization of the Exhibition of ZGC Forum (also known as China Beijing International High-tech Expo) by utilizing international network of CCPIT Beijing to provide more specialized and higher-quality services for enterprises envisioning global market.
Lin Shunjie stated that the CIEC attached great importance to its partnership with CCPIT Beijing and the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC). He assured that the CIEC would continue to actively serve and support key exhibitions in Beijing with its international, professional, and market-oriented business philosophy. Through these efforts, the CIEC would contribute to the high-quality opening-up and development of the municipal city.
Other attendees of the meeting included Huang Baoju, general manager of Beijing International Exhibition Center Co., Ltd., Sun Weiyong, general manager of CIEC International Travel Agency, Liu Yingjie, general manager of CIEC International Exhibition Construction Co., Ltd., and members of the Department of International Exhibition from CCPIT Beijing.
