On the morning of February 22, Wu Lanlan, Vice-chairwoman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice and had talks with the head of its Department of Mediation. The two sides centered around the construction of the international commercial dispute resolution center, and conduct intensive discussion on promoting the growth of commercial mediation services, training and cultivation of legal experts for handling commercial disputes, and establishing an international platform for settling commercial disputes in Beijing. As a way of resolving commercial disputes, commercial mediation increasingly attracted attention due to its respect for the laws of commercial development and its echo with the requirements on harmony during conflict settlements. CCPIT Beijing and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice would combine their advantages, deepen cooperation, and work together to promote the establishment of commercial mediation organizations, enhance the performance of international mediation organizations, and recruit international mediators. The aim is to build an ideal environment for the international commercial dispute resolution center, and to contribute to the creation of a market-oriented, legalized and internationalized business environment.
