On the afternoon of February 14, Guo Huaigang, Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to Schneider Electric, a member of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing (IBLAC). Guo Huaigang held talks with Wang Jie, Vice-president at Schneider Electric China and Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Development Division in China, on further improving the effectiveness of IBLAC and strengthening cooperation among IBLAC members in Beijing.
The attendees headed to the product exhibition hall to gain insight of the group’s progress in digital transformation and software-hardware integration. During the discussion conducted later, Guo emphasized that Schneider was an industry leader in energy management and automation systems, and had contributed its wisdom to the sustainable development of Beijing. In the new context, global corporations like Schneider were welcomed to maintain their efforts in Beijing to contribute to win-win cooperation. CCPIT Beijing would give full play to its functions, and leverage its official and private capabilities to act as a bridge for communication and collaboration between businesses and government. Efforts would also be made to update IBLAC’s working mechanism and create additional information exchange channels and high-end event platforms, so as to provide international, professional and refined services for enterprises to expand investment and operations in Beijing.
Wang Jie then expressed that, the identity as a member of IBLAC and the continuously enhanced business environment in Beijing had immensely assisted Schneider Electric to flourish in the city. The company looked forward to comprehending the development trend of China and Beijing through the platform of IBLAC. Schneider Electric would actively explore market prospects, capitalize on its edges in intelligent manufacturing, and employ its expertise in energy efficiency management to contribute to Beijing’s vision of a green, low-carbon future.
