To further promote the meeting of International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing (IBLAC) and enhance efficiency of the task force serving foreign-funded enterprises, Guo Huaigang, Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, visited Sanofi, a French Group and a member of IBLAC, and had conversations with Zhu Hailuan, Vice-president of Sanofi China.
Guo stated that since the 15th Meeting of IBLAC, which was successfully held at the end of last year, CCPIT Beijing as IBLAC secretariat had been in close communication and coordination with multiple parties to implement the Meeting’s outcomes. In 2023, the secretariat would further enhance the communication mechanism, diversify activities, and build a platform for effective communication between government officials and enterprise executives to better serve the needs of global companies. Guo also emphasized on the significance of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry in advancing the high-quality development of Beijing and encouraged Sanofi Group to seize the opportunity to expand investments and development in Beijing.
Zhu Hailuan said that Sanofi had been committed to fostering cordial relationships between China and France. The Group strengthened its position in the Chinese market by building a complete production chain in Beijing, which integrated the investment company, R&D center, and manufacturing plant. Sanofi’s senior management values and looks forward to the opportunity to deepen exchanges and collaboration with Beijing, under the continued support of IBLAC secretariat and relevant authorities. They aspire to utilize their expertise in digital empowerment, technology R&D, and talent training to contribute more to the R&D process of Beijing and bring forth innovative products.
