On the morning of February 7, Wu Lanlan, Vice Chairwoman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to CCPIT Department of International Relations, holding talks with its Deputy Director Lin Honghong on preparations for the 16th China-LAC Business Summit (2023). Other attendees included Xu Jinli, Deputy Director of the Bilateral Cooperation Department of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), and members of the Latin America & the Caribbean (LAC) Division of the CCPIT International Liaison Department as well as America & Oceania Division of the CCOIC Bilateral Cooperation Department.
Lin Honghong delivered instructions from Ren Hongbin, Chairman of CCPIT, on the organization of a successful and productive China-LAC Business Summit in Beijing. In accordance, the planning and execution of the Summit should combine domestic and international trends with Beijing’s development strategy in the new era, and highlight on the international context, local characteristics, and practical outcome. A close collaboration and a balance between innovation and experience, and a well-coordinated cooperation promises a high-standard preparation phase.
Wu Lanlan updated the preparatory efforts of CCPIT Beijing and listed the latest plans of visiting relevant professional organizations, government agencies, and corporations. She stated that under the guidance of CCPIT, Beijing sub-council would establish a collaborative working system, improve coordination and cooperation, set up comprehensive plans for the Summit and lay a solid foundation for further work by collectively incorporating intelligence and resources from all aspects.
