Mr. Guo also said that as a window and a bridge for the opening up of Beijing, CCPIT Beijing will focus on such priorities as the “five key projects” (building Beijing into an international center for innovation; making progress in building the “two zones”; developing the digital economy; stimulating and creating new demand through supply-side structural reform; and making greater headway with Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development through relocation of functions non-essential to the role of the capital) and developing an economic structure featuring high-grade and advanced industries, and actively help solve problems faced by enterprises and serve foreign investors in expanding their investment and operations in Beijing through the Advisory Council Secretariat and the ad-hoc working team for foreign-funded enterprises. He expressed his expectation for the enhanced and all-round cooperation and exchanges in the future.
Dong thanked CCPIT Beijing for its support to the company’s development in Beijing, especially the timely help offered by the Advisory Council Secretariat and relevant competent authorities at municipal and district level in providing sufficient epidemic prevention materials and ensuring smooth logistics. She highly appreciated the continuous improvement of business environment in Beijing, and stressed that as ABB Group’s business and development priorities are highly in line with Beijing’s development strategy, ABB Group will continue to increase R&D investment, make production lines more intelligent, and build green factories, committed to long-term development in Beijing.
Dong handed over to Guo a letter from Peter Voser, the consultant of the Advisory Council and Chairman of ABB Group, in which he confirms his attendance at the 15th Meeting of the Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing to be held in November this year. The two sides also exchanged views on helping enterprises reduce epidemic impact and expand production, and strengthening exchanges and cooperation of Beijing Chamber of International Commerce with Swiss Chamber of Commerce, Swedish Chamber of Commerce and member enterprises. After the meeting, the participants visited the production workshop of ABB LV Installation Materials Co., Ltd. Beijing.
