Distributed Energy Summit on the Horizon

In the context of China’s energy shortage and environmental pressures, distributed energy has become a staunch support for economic sustainability and an important approach to national energy strategy revamp and eco-civilization construction. China Green Power Summit & Distributed Energy Promotion, launched by China Distributed Energy Industry Association and organized by China Energy Conservation Association, will be held on the occasion of 18^th China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC) in May.

With the theme of “Spurring development through technical innovation and vigorously promoting energy conservation and emission reduction”, the summit, as a part of CHITEC Energy Strategy Forum, has invited city managers, potential user groups and enterprises along the distributed energy industry chain from Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cluster as well as other areas of North China, Northeast China and West China to discuss such topics of regional interest as the 2016-2020 outlook, policies and standards with respect to distributed energy, its status quo and relevance to the energy infrastructure of future Chinese cities, and the relevant cases of engineering and applied technology, in an effort to jointly enhance the development of distributed energy. The summit will be a breakthrough point for integrated growth of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cluster and a positive endeavor for environmental amelioration.
