Xiong Jiuling’s Delegation at “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Trade Promotion and Coordinated Development” Work Conference

On July 23^rd, “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Trade Promotion and Coordinated Development” Work Conference was held in Tangshan. Delegates adopted the Proposal for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Investment and Trade Fair, and thrashed out organizational issues of the conference including the responsibilities of rotating Chair-entity, rules of procedure and logo use plan. The conference was presided over by Hou Jian, Vice President of CCPIT Hebei. Over 40 officials from Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cluster attended, including Lin Shunjie, Director of CCPIT Department of Trade and Investment Promotion, Xiong Jiuling, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, Lin Bin, Vice Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, Zhao Xueming, Chairperson of CCPIT Tianjin, Zhang Quansheng, Associate Counsel of CCPIT Tianjin, Zhang Lihong, Chairperson of CCPIT Hebei, and Li Changyuan, Under Secretary General of CPC Tangshan Municipal Committee.

Lin Shunjie dwelled on CCPIT’s ideas, methods and priorities of boosting investment and trade, and articulated its commitment to trade promotion and coordinated development of the cluster. Leaders from CCPIT Beijing, CCPIT Tianjin, CCPIT Hebei and Tangshan Municipal Government addressed the conference.

As Xiong Jiuling put it, the conference marks the implementation of cooperation programs jointly developed by the three CCPIT branches. According to the general requirements of CCPIT, the branches should play their parts in coordinated development of the cluster, arming themselves with a strong sense of historical responsibility, clearly specifying their duties, and ensuring the success of the programs in support of the “One Belt and One Road” strategy as well as the transfer and upgrading of local sectors, projects and enterprises. The branches should work together to promote global capacity relocation and equipment manufacturing cooperation, connecting the cluster to offshore capital and talent as well as sophisticated equipment and technology.
