With a total investment of RMB 2.05 billion from China Resources Pharmaceutical Group, a subsidiary of Fortune 500 company—China Resources Group, the project of China Resources biological industrial park launched in Dong’e in September 2019. On the basis of China Resources biological industrial park, the high-end biomedical industrial park will take advantages of the depressions effect in attracting foreign investment and high-end pharmaceutical projects. With an integrated planning focused on high-end R&D, manufacturing and service, the biomedical industrial park will attract large and strong companies, high-tech and innovative enterprises, talents and know-hows, so as to accelerate the integration of industrial parks, the completion of supporting facilities and the gathering of industrial factors.
Project Description and Construction Plan
The project is planned to cover an area of 500 mu (333,333.35 square meters) and to be constructed in three phases. By attracting and fostering a number of biomedical enterprises with core competitiveness, the project aims to develop an intelligent and smart industrial park with a variety of business forms and distinctive features. The industrial park’s total construction area is about 400,000 square meters.
Market Prospect Analysis
By 2020, the total revenue of global biological industry is expected to reach USD 1.4 trillion. In the next five years, the compound annual growth rate of global pharmaceutical expenditures will be as high as 7%, much higher than the global economic growth rate of 3%. It clearly demonstrates the overall strong growth trend for global pharmaceutical market.
