Listed in China, the company comes from the building materials industry, and now intends to acquire targets from thermal insulation and coating sectors.

Requirements for targets from the thermal insulation sector

1. Their main business shall involve rock wool, polystyrene boards or other new types of basic thermal insulation materials;

2. They shall have autonomous production capacity and the potential for replicable expansion;

3. With both production and finances compliant, they shall have professional management teams and R&D personnel;

4. It would be preferred if they have production bases in East and North China;

5. They shall have revenue of around RMB100-500 million.

Requirements for targets from the coating sector

1. Among their principal operations, the share of water-based paint shall be higher than the industry average;

2. They shall have independent R&D capacity and featured products whose gross profit margin shall be notably higher than the industry average;

3. They shall have sales revenue of around RMB50-500 million, but no profit requirements are imposed on characteristic startups;

4. They shall have exclusive advantages in the areas of rail transport, automobiles (OEM), heavy-duty corrosion protection and steel structure;

5. It would be preferred if they have production bases in East China.
