Market advantages: Bohai New Area has been vigorously promoting integrated tourism, going all out to build itself into a “demonstration area for integrated tourism” in Hebei province. Transport advantages: Project initiation for Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Rail Line 2 has been completed. Upon completion and entry into operation, it will shorten the travel time from Bohai New Area to Beijing to around 40 minutes. Meanwhile, the Shijiazhuang-Hengshui-Cangzhou-Huanghua Port Intercity Railway is planned to commence construction in 2020. Upon completion of construction, the railway will shorten the distance by train between Bohai New Area and Shijiazhuang, with the run time cut to one hour.

With a total of 209 berths planned, Huanghua Comprehensive Port has now built a 200,000-ton deep water ship channel and 35 berths with a capacity of more than 10,000 tons, possessing a container transport capacity of 900,000 TEUs. In 2017, the throughput was 270 million tons, covering the central and southern areas of Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Shandong, Henan, Inner Mongolia and the northwest and other vast areas of China. It has formed the shortest Eurasian continental bridge in the world between the Port and Rotterdam in Netherlands. Therefore, Huanghua Comprehensive Port is known as " the bridgehead of the new passage from Asia to European continent".
Space layout advantages
Bohai New Area has 535 square kilometers of construction land and 720 square kilometers of unused land, as well as 290 square kilometers of tidal flats and a large area of coastal shallow sea. It is a rare "golden land” which can be used for industrial projects and industrial parks in the surrounding areas of Beijing and Tianjin. The average price of general industrial land is lower.
