General Introduction:

 

Entitled with “the Industry’s teeth”, abrasive materials and tools are not only bound up with the industry of equipment manufacturing, aerospace, shipbuilding, new energy, automobile, household appliances, and electronic information, but have played a vital role in every aspect of people’s life. China, as a great exporter of abrasives and grindings, its abrasives and grindings’ production is as much as 65%, of superhard materials production accounts for 90% of the total amount in the world. (Henan Province alone takes the dominant part of national superhard materials’ production, which is over 80%). Zhengzhou is the center of the abrasives and grindings industry, also the origin and the hub of superhard material industry in China, bearing series of advantages in industry, talents, research and development, technology, information, market, and industry services and management, etc.

 

The strategy of regulation and promotion in ten major industries and the newly-issued decision about accelerating the development of seven strategic emerging industries indicate a higher requirement of grind cutting tools and its technology development for modern high-end manufacturing. "China International Abrasives & Grinding Exposition" was born with time and grows with need. It will establish a platform for abrasive industry home and abroad in manufacturing, academic research and application by exhibitions and related activities. It will also offer channels for investment, trade and exchange of information, promote the technology products upgrading of domestic modern manufacturing, to achieve the goal of energy conservation, environment protection, emission reduction, efficiency growth, and green manufacturing, and to promote the efficient and sustainable development of national economy.
