The 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services will hold five summit forums along with 193 thematic forums and promotional activities during this year's event, according to a Xinhua news report.
The five forums will be held by the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Development Research Center of the State Council and the World Tourism Cities Federation respectively, CIFTIS conference team director Zhang Haocheng said at a news conference on Saturday.
Summit forums will focus on the high-level development of trade in services, opening-up and cooperation, new digital ecology and world tourism revitalization, conducting in-depth discussions on strategic and structural issues of world trade in services.
More than 30 reports, standards, and indices will be released during the fair, to be held from Sept 2 to 7 in Beijing.
A dozen alliances, think tanks, and platforms focusing on logistics and purchasing, the grain supply chain, finance, traditional Chinese medicine, and ecological environment will also be set up during the fair this year.
