On the afternoon of June 18th, CCPIT Beijing/ Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, together with the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the PRC, organized the China-Russia Online Exchange Meeting for Hi-tech Companies. Under the invitation of Executive Council Members of Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (Beijing Information & Telecommunication Association, Beijing Electron & Electric Appliances Association, Beijing Haidian International Chamber of Commerce, and Beijing Electronic Chamber of Commerce), the representatives of 10 member companies in such fields as AI, big data, and cloud computing and those of 10 Russian companies attended the meeting.
Participants from both sides acknowledged the closer trade ties between China and Russia. The increasing complementarity and interdependence of the two economies have created great room for trade cooperation. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic, bilateral trade volume has been growing rapidly, and the trade structure of both countries has been improving. Currently, China and Russia are working closely together in various fields, ranging from trade to investment, from traditional energy resources to emerging technology. Both countries will take advantage of their comprehensive strategic partnership to build an international platform for economic, trade and technical exchanges, and give a big boost to the cooperation between Chinese and Russian companies.
At the meeting, Chinese tech firms like Zhongchuang Telecom Test, iSoftStone, Hanvon, Tianchuang Lanhai, iFLYTEK, Udesk, Haohan Data, Centrin Cloud Finance, 4Paradigm, and Huisa Technology compared notes with Russian companies on featured technical products and solutions. Executives from both sides thanked the Organizers for facilitating the exchanges between hi-tech companies and potential partners in China and Russia. They are looking forward to more online/offline exchanges in the future.
