On the afternoon of April 15, the Annual Working Conference for Coordinated Development of Trade and Investment Promotion in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region was held in Tianjin. Liu Bozheng, deputy director of the Beijing branch of the Leading Group Office for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region’s Coordinated Development, Zhu Jialiang, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing), Suo Jianjie, vice chairman of CCPIT Hebei, Guo Zaolin, vice chairman of CCPIT Tianjin, Ding Xiangping, chairman of CCPIT Handan, and the heads from the Leading Group Office for Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development and relevant departments of the three CCPIT sub-councils attended the conference, which was chaired by Xue Xianjin, second-level inspector of CCPIT Hebei.
At the conference, Guo Zaolin, vice chairman of CCPIT Tianjin handed over the flag of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Investment and Trade Fair to Suo Jianjie, vice chairman of CCPIT Hebei, which is the rotating unit for the fair this year; Guo Zaolin summarized CCPIT Tianjin’s work of rotation in 2020; Zhan Wenqing, second-level inspector and director of the conference department at CCPIT Beijing, made an explanation for the revisions to the “Memorandum of Cooperation on Coordinated Development of Trade and Investment Promotion in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region”; Suo Jianjie, vice chairman of CCPIT Hebei introduced the main ideas of the work for coordinated development in 2021 and reported the preparations for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Investment and Trade Fair 2021. The attendees had full discussions on the above content, while leaders from the three CCPIT sub-councils put forward instructions and requirements for relevant work. On the basis of consensus reached, the newly revised “Memorandum of Cooperation on Coordinated Development of Trade and Investment Promotion in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region” was jointly signed at the conference. Liu Bozheng, deputy director of the Beijing branch of the Leading Group Office for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region’s Coordinated Development, introduced the relevant circumstances for coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, hoping that the trade promotion councils in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei will strengthen communication and exchanges with the Leading Group Office, to carry out pragmatic cooperation on jointly promoting implementation of the strategy for coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Investment and Trade Fair 2021 will be held in Handan, Hebei on June 24-25, with a combination of online and offline.
