On March 30, the Planning Development Department conducted the 2021 annual meeting on research bases to further refine research on enterprises. Five research bases including the Capital Intellectual Property Services Association, Beijing International Economic and Technical Cooperation Association, Beijing Import & Export Enterprise Association, Beijing E-Commerce Association, and Beijing Association of Sourcing Service participated in the meeting. Ma Changjun, the inspector and vice chairman of CCPIT Beijing, attended the meeting, and vice chairman Zhu Jialiang presided over the meeting.
Heated discussions were held and representatives from all parties voiced their opinions. Experience of serving enterprises was shared by the research bases. In-depth exchanges were conducted on the operating model of business associations, building of the “two zones”, and development of new business models after the pandemic. Various business associations gave feedback on the main problems facing the enterprises in their respective industry, covering the talent policy in Beijing, improvement of the business environment, and specific implementation of policies. Vice chairman Zhu Jialiang thanked the various associations for their support to the relevant work of CCPIT Beijing, and promised to provide feedback to competent authorities and follow up the implementation of relevant policies. Participants are convinced that CCPIT Beijing has always striven to serve enterprises, strengthened the function of “representing industry and commerce”, attached importance to research on enterprises, and effectively helped enterprises tackle their difficulties.
The Planning Development Department went through the work in research bases in 2020 and proposed the work planning for 2021. Over the past few years, major players in the field of foreign trade and economic cooperation in Beijing are involved in the research bases to facilitate the establishment of efficient channels of exchanges between enterprises. According to the priorities of Beijing this year, the research bases will focus on the building of the “two zones”, the improvement of the business environment, and the international development of enterprises amid routine prevention and control of the pandemic, strengthen the exchanges with enterprises, expand the forms and contents of services, and further conduct enterprise investigations, seminars, exchanges, series of lectures on international economics and trade, as well as surveys. The various associations expressed that they would actively cooperate with CCPIT Beijing and jointly serve as bridges and bonds.
Vice chairman Ma Changjun believed that the meeting was fruitful. With the current ongoing pandemic and complex external environment, enterprises engaged in foreign trade are facing many uncertainties. All parties should focus on the building of the “two zones” and uphold the common goal of serving companies and safeguarding corporate interests. Each party is encouraged to showcase its strengths and complement each other for win-win results, work in coordination to promote the development of export-oriented economy in Beijing, and jointly contribute to the high-quality economic and social development of Beijing and the successful start of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
