The Big Data Expo 2019 will be held in Guiyang on May 26-29. With the theme of “Innovative Development, Digital Future”, it contains a Forum, an Exhibition, a Release Meeting, Contests, and events. The Forum and the 60,000m2 Exhibition will feature 400 famed companies at home and abroad, including Google, Qualcomm, NTT Data, Seagate, Alibaba, Tencent, Huawei, Qihoo 360, and Vertu. Paul Romer, a recipient of the Nobel Prize in economics, Whitfield Diffie, a Turing Award winner, will address the Forum along with other industrial heavyweights. This year’s Expo will place greater emphasis on the theme, international participation, trendsetting role, Forum-Exhibition integration, authoritative releases, and integrated solutions.

During the Q&A session, Ma Changjun acknowledged the Big Data Expo’s achievements over the past four years. As he put it, the Expo has become an important industrial platform for exhibition, exchange and promotion, and the Organizing Committee has been trying to make the national-level Expo even better. Drawing on the proven experience of the past four years, the Big Data Expo 2019 will present the following features: first, aligned with industry trends. Specialization is the root of future success. In the exhibition zones for AI, 5G, financial big data, and big data pilot zones this year, forward-looking products and technologies will figure prominently, including the Internet of Things, smart city, edge computing, deep learning, data privacy protection, autopilot, and intelligent management. Second, international. International elements are a sure card for virtuous development. In 2019, the Expo will not only be graced by group exhibitors from Germany, Spain, Korea, Israel, the UK, Russia and France, but also have its first guest of honor. Third, value-enhancing. Providing omnidirectional services for exhibitors is the cornerstone of the Expo. While helping companies showcase their new products and technologies and connecting them to potential investors, the Expo will pay heed to their concerns and enhance their experience and value. Furthermore, product releases and project roadshows will be held at the Exhibition this year; investors will be invited to attend various events and observe the achievements of big data development; and the Exhibition will receive extensive coverage by specialized media agencies.

Building on the success of the past four years, the Big Data Expo 2019 will be more international, specialized, and considerate towards big data companies at home and abroad. The Expo will strive to establish itself as an industrial gala with unique value.
