To whom it may concern,
Under the invitation of the Organizing Committee of Shaanxi The Belt and Road Sci-tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo (hereinafter referred to as the “Expo”), CCPIT Beijing will participate as a group in the 2nd Expo in Xi’an on May 28-30, 2018. In answer to the 19th NPC’s call for “making China a country of innovators”, we will further implement the overall proposals for strengthening the construction of Beijing National Science and Technology Innovation Center by enhancing the bridging role of China Beijing International High-tech Expo, ramping up engagement of local sci-tech enterprises with countries and regions along the Belt and Road (B&R), and promoting sci-tech application, collaborative innovation and coordinated development. Here are the details of the Expo:

Zones and features:
a) B&R: High-tech products and modern agricultural cooperation of B&R countries and regions.
b) Sci-tech Innovations: The latest progress and achievements of local governments in sci-tech innovation; sci-tech development plans and achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship of development zones; and solutions of sci-tech innovation service agencies.
c) Cutting-edge Technologies: Innovative applications of cutting-edge technologies, including cloud computing, big data, IoT, AI, intelligent robotics, automatic identification, and autopilot.
d) Energy and Chemical Technologies: Progress and achievements in sci-tech innovation of coal, power, petrochemical and new energy industries; energy Internet technology and new energy equipment.
e) Intelligent Manufacturing: Internet + manufacturing; new energy vehicles, intelligent industrial equipment as well as relevant innovations, products and technologies; intelligent plant solutions; industrial robotics; and 3D printing.
f) Civil-military Integration and Aerospace: Civil-military high-tech achievements; aerospace technologies and equipment; and information security.
g) Smart Cities: Top-down design and solutions of smart cities; ICT solutions to utilities; cloud and big data applications; smart home; and intelligent transportation.
h) Fintech Innovations: Fintech achievements and applications of banks, insurers, venture funds and angel investors.
i) Sci-tech Innovations and Applications: Applicable sci-tech innovation and entrepreneurship projects of institutes and universities; IPR capitalization; and piloting of two institutes in Shaanxi (Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of CAS, and Northwest Institute for Non-ferrous Metal Research).
j) Key Laboratories: System building and the latest achievements in sci-tech innovation of key laboratories.

Entities and products which stand out during Expo organization will be awarded by Science and Technology Daily, among others. The following titles will be granted: Outstanding Organizer, Best Organizer, Best Exhibitor, Sci-tech Innovation Model District/County, and Sci-tech Innovation Model Entity.
3. Charges
Booth fees are collected by the Organizing Committee. Participating enterprises of our group are entitled to a 50% discount.
