Public Lecture on Cross-Border E-Commerce – Seeking for Market Information to Enhance International Trade

Chambers of Commerce and Organizations Concerned:

Beijing Information Center for International Economy and Trade is going to hold a public lecture on cross-border E-commerce in an effort to help enterprises tap the international market with e-commerce platforms, which will be elaborated on in the lecture.

Time of Lecture: 9:00-11:30 a.m., March 17th, 2017

Venue of Lecture: Auditorium, Capital Library of China Tower A (No.88, East Third Ring S.Road, Chaoyang District)

Contents:

1. Lecture given by Doctor. WANG Jian, Professor of University of International Business and Economics, on the development trend of cross-border e-commerce and introduction of domestic and foreign e-commerce platforms, including the distribution of e-commerce platforms, key areas, trade structure, and the characteristics, functions, operation modes of major e-commerce platforms at home and abroad, especially countries involved in the Belt And Road Initiative.

2. Introduction by XUE Yan, Expert with Ali Research, of Alibaba cross-border e-commerce platform, including types of platform, major operation modes, business and development prospects, and advice on the use of e-commerce platforms, etc.
